Cossington Violet is registered blind and has dementia. Care and support was initially provided by the family but understandably it soon became too much for them. Violet’s daughter (Denise) reached out to the Blanche Sargeaunt Foundation and the Trustees were only too delighted to help. We received this note of thanks from Denise: “Thank you so much for the support you have given my family. It has made an enormous difference to our lives. We now have peace of mind that mum is being professionally cared for. The combination of dementia and being blind has been so challenging, so it has been lovey for Mum to have one-to-one care and the support she has received has been wonderful. Mum has always wanted to stay in the home she loves and with the Charity’s help we have been able to achieve this.
